This Privacy Policy describes how AI Detector: GenAI & Face Swap (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App on iOS and iPadOS. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1) What we collect

• Account data: If you sign in with Apple: name (if provided by Apple), Apple account identifier, email (relay/private email if chosen).
• Subscription and purchase data: Managed by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat (receipt validation, entitlement status). We do not store full payment details.
• Usage and diagnostics: App events (e.g., scan started/completed), device type, OS version, crash logs, performance metrics. Collected via Firebase (Analytics/Crashlytics).
• User content you submit: Media you choose to analyze (images, videos, text) and URLs you paste/share for scanning (including social media links). We may download the media from the link to perform analysis.
• Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, and request metadata as part of network requests.

2) Third parties we use

• Sightengine (media analysis): We send your selected media (or derived signals) to Sightengine to perform AI/Face Swap detection. Sightengine may receive your IP address and request metadata. See their privacy policy.
• Firebase (Google): Analytics, Crashlytics, Auth (if used), Firestore/Functions/Storage (if used).
• RevenueCat: Subscription/entitlement management using Apple receipts.
• Apple: Distributes the App, processes payments, and optionally provides sign‑in.

We do not sell your personal data.

3) How we use your data

• Provide core functionality (analyze user‑selected media and URLs).
• Show analysis results and optional local history.
• Manage subscriptions and entitlements.
• Improve reliability and performance (diagnostics/analytics).
• Prevent abuse and ensure security.

4) Processing of user content (media & links)

• What: images, videos, text, and URLs (including social links).
• Purpose: content authenticity checks (GenAI/Face Swap analysis).
• How: content may be transmitted to Sightengine. For URL scans, the App may fetch the media to enable analysis.
• Retention: kept only as long as needed to complete analysis and present results. Optional local history is under your control.
• Ownership: you retain ownership of your content.

5) Legal bases (where applicable)

6) Data sharing

We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the App. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7) Retention

• Account/subscription records: retained while active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
• Analytics/diagnostics: retained per provider defaults.
• User content: retained only as needed for analysis and user‑visible history (if enabled).

8) Security

We use industry‑standard measures (encryption in transit, least‑privilege access) and rely on reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Your choices & rights

• Access/Deletion requests for account data; clear local history in the App.
• Opt‑out of analytics where supported by your OS or in‑app (if provided).
• Region‑specific rights (e.g., GDPR/CCPA) may apply.

10) Children

Not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11) International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries different from your own by our providers. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the App or website. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
